Why have your water analyzed?

Quick and simple, a water analysis verifies multiple parameters, aesthetic factors and whether your water is suitable for drinking. For instances, if your artesian well water smells bad or stains your clothes, you should have it analyzed to determine the cause.

Showing proof that the water is suitable for drinking may be necessary when selling your home or refinancing your mortgage. A water analysis will prove that your artesian well water is safe to drink.

After all, your health and your family’s wellbeing is well worth it!

Water analysis

Depending on the nature of the issue

  • One of our experts will go on-site to perform the water analysis
  • When the problem is aesthetic (yellow water, water that stains the sink or toilet bowl, etc.), you can bring us a sample.
  • When bacteria or arsenic are the problem, you can purchase a sample kit directly at our store and analyze the water yourself.

Did you know that a preventive water analysis should be performed twice a year or anytime you notice a change in the quality of your water?

Diagnosis

Water tests are quick. In most cases, our experts will be able to provide you with the water analysis results on the same or next day.

More complex cases such as analyzing for bacteria or arsenic in the water can take between 5 and 10 business days before receiving lab results. At F. Lapointe et Fils, we work with Environex[SL1] , an analysis laboratory that is recognized by the MDDELCC.

Solution

Based on the results, our experts will inform you of your available options. We will answer your questions and help you choose the water treatment that is most appropriate for your water issues.
